Rule of Thirds

Rule of thirds is like "guidelines" that most people follow because its appealing and it avoids the middle. Imagine a picture split into three on each side with imaginary lines like this picture of a stawberry, you want to put your subject where the lines intersect, or on the red dots in this picture. You also want your horizon on one of the horizontal lines so it doesn't go to low, to high or directly in the middle. These are good guidelines to make your pictures more appealing, even people who don't know about the rule of thirds will know that a picture that follows the rule of thirds looks better than one that does not. It will make your pictures appear more professional and look better. Just look at the difference....
